Heat
Timer, heart rate and round at a glance. Mark the Aufguss with one tap.
Schwitz tracks your rounds quietly on Apple Watch and reads your evening back on iPhone.
Coming soon, free on the App Store.
Schwitz is a calm sauna journal for iPhone and Apple Watch. The app accompanies every round through heat, cooling and rest, shows your heart rate live on your wrist, reminds you of your limit with a silent alarm and keeps the evening in a journal. With Schwitz Pro you read your sessions as a report. All data stays on your device.
A round has three phases. Schwitz accompanies each one without making you look at the screen. Not a tracker that grades you, but a ritual that remembers.
Timer, heart rate and round at a glance. Mark the Aufguss with one tap.
Cold plunge, shower or fresh air. The colours guide you through the phase.
Lie down, breathe, do nothing. Schwitz holds back and waits with you.
Heat: your pulse rises, round by round you see how far.
Cooling: the cold brings it back within minutes. That is the recovery the report measures.
Rest: your pulse settles, and Schwitz remembers the whole course.
Journal: in the end you note how it felt. A few words are enough.
Example course, not real data. Keep scrolling.
If your pulse stays above your limit, Apple Watch taps your wrist gently. No sound, no red, no panic.
After every session you note how it felt: a mood, a few words, done. Your sauna year reads like a diary, not a spreadsheet.
The journal is always free and unlimited.
Schwitz keeps what you would otherwise forget: heat, pause, Aufguss, rest and the moment after.
Every session becomes a square. Over time you see when you made room for rest and when you did not.
Example with demo data.

No. The iPhone alone handles most things: start a session, log rounds and breaks, write your journal. The Watch is the optional precision mode with live heart rate, quiet haptics and phase changes on the wrist.
Sessions, phases, Aufguss, live heart rate, the silent alarm, the journal and Apple Health sync, unlimited and forever. Statistics and history cover the last 30 days, and you can save up to three saunas.
The session report with your pulse story, insights into your ritual including the afterglow on sleep, resting heart rate and HRV, the shareable look-back, daily form and weekly brief, phase targets, unlimited saunas and history beyond 30 days.
Nowhere. Schwitz reads sleep, resting heart rate and HRV from Apple Health only with your permission and evaluates them on your device. There is no Schwitz server for user data.
Yes. Heart rate and workout entries are written to Apple Health at the end of each session, if you choose.
No. Schwitz does not replace medical advice. The heart rate alarm is a reminder, not a safeguard. Listen to your body.
